I am a discipline-based education research with a focus on the reconciliation of science and worldview emphasizing effective science communication. Much of my work has focused on reconciling evolutionary science with religious faith in a variety of faith traditions. I also study ways to teach vaccines and climate change to politically diverse audiences. I have recently taken a position at the new BYU School of Medicine where I will continue my research on science communication in a health-related context.
