Peacemaker Fair

The Annual Peacemaker Fair is a fall event designed especially for BYU students to learn about the many ways peacemaking can be practiced on campus and in the broader community. Hosted by BYU’s Initiative for Peacemaking and the student-led Peacemaker Project, the fair brings together campus programs, student organizations, and community partners whose work reflects principles such as bridge-building, civil dialogue, conflict resolution, reconciliation, and constructive civic engagement.

Students are invited to visit booths, connect with organizations, and discover opportunities to get involved through volunteering, internships, research, student leadership, and community engagement. The fair also features a keynote speaker who offers practical insight into what it means to be a better peacemaker in everyday relationships, campus life, and public discourse.

Join us for the 2026 Peacemaker Fair on Tuesday, September 15, in the Wilkinson Student Center and discover the many ways individuals and organizations are working to build understanding, strengthen communities, and put peacemaking into practice.

The Fair begins at 1:00 p.m. with a keynote address from Maury Giles, CEO of Braver Angels. From 2:00–5:30 p.m., visit organizations and campus groups in the WSC Garden Court, learn about opportunities to get involved, and enjoy free pizza beginning at 2:00 p.m.

At 4:00 p.m. in the Varsity Theater, directly across from the Garden Court, join us for a special screening of the documentary 9/11: Reclaiming Ground Zero, followed by a Q&A with producer Sarah Sabey.
