Peacemaking Conference

The Annual Peacemaking Conference brings together scholars, practitioners, civic leaders, and students to explore pressing questions related to peacebuilding, polarization, conflict resolution, and civic life. Hosted by BYU’s Initiative for Peacemaking, the conference creates space for thoughtful dialogue across disciplines and sectors, connecting rigorous research with real-world practice.

Each year, the conference focuses on a timely theme and features keynote addresses, panel discussions, and collaborative conversations designed to deepen understanding and generate practical ideas for building peace in communities, institutions, and public life. Through this gathering, the Initiative seeks to strengthen networks, elevate promising approaches, and contribute to a culture of constructive engagement and principled peacemaking.

Join us in Spring 2027 for our next Annual Peacemaking Conference! More information on location and event details will be released on this page.
